Lorin Smith is a Kashaya Pomo elder, medicine man, dreamer and storyteller who has traveled around the U.S. and abroad doing healing work. Since the 1970's he has lived on the Pomo reservation in Gualala, California, and based on a vision Lorin built a ceremonial roundhouse that remains a hub for his community and his healing work. Charlene Sul was born and raised in San Jose, California and her members of her family have lived in the area for hundreds of years. She founded the Confederation of Ohlone People and co-leads the 1000 Hummingbirds Gatherings.
